Why then had they accepted our booking and sent confirmation e-mails? Clearly there is a problem between toptable and this restaurant. Eventually our voucher was honoured but it was not a great start to the evening and future customers need to be warned about this potential problem.
The food, however, was really suberb and excellent value for money. It's unbelievable that a restaurant near West End could do such an bargain offer. Steak tartare was seasoned perfectly, fresh and lovely juicy texture. I would recommend the fillet steak rare for those who can handle it as this time I ordered medium rare and it lost it's slight tenderness. Still I finished it which shows how adequately flavoured and seasoned it was. Vegetable sides was also perfectly cooked, with a nice crunch and the sweetness highlights its quality once again.
