He had a fantastic time. We booked
a table for 3 people, but the very last minute we had to add one more person and we had no problem at all. The service was good, though not as good as the food; which was excellent. He really enjoyed ourselves at Cecconi's."

Dinner was good,crab Ravioli was
not the best but service made up for it. The ambience is wonderful!"

The location and building are
excellent the atmosphere always busy and efficient. The food is good quality and produced consistently and service is slick and prompt. They serve a lot of covers in more than one sitting which is only possible with enough well trained professional staff. The Restaurant is not relying on reputation or location to maintain popularity."

Simple flavours work better than
complex ones when the produce is top notch and the cooking is perfect. Baked cod was indeed perfect as was my friend's salmon. The chicken liver parfait was balanced perfectly with the right ratio of chutney and toast. The service here is always impeccable and they go the extra mile every time. My favourite for that. It's pricey but not outrageous in London. Trouble is I never want to leave so always spend a fortune. Oops."
dined on 26/02/2014
The food is fresh. And
outstanding, the service was very good"

from the moment we stepped into
the restaurant we whete waited on hand and foot excellent service outstanding food i would definitely recommend 2 friends and family and would definitely go back for some fine food ."
dined on 13/02/2014
Great for taking a leisurely break
during a hectic shopping outing on nearby Regent Street. Best to sit at the bar and worth the wait."
dined on 18/01/2014
Had a nice buzz. Able to have a
conversation although it was busy on a Thursday evening. Food was good and well presented and good sized portions.Service (nicely) relaxed although a bit slow at times refilling the wine. Great for an upmarket get together on all occasions."
dined on 16/01/2014
Highly recommended restaurant. We
arrived early for our TT booking and were told that it would take between 10-30 minutes for a table (which we were happy to accept). Waited at the bar and had some drinks and nibbles but were surprised that the person who had promised us a table completely ignored us for the next hour, despite a couple of reminders (and they did have a few tables which were free). We got the feeling that they knew we would continue eating at the bar... Apart from that part of the evening, the food and service were excellent. Warning - main courses are generous in quantity (you don't usually hear that), so be careful not to eat too much bread beforehand! Would definitely visit again and hope that we are not ignored again."

Cecconi's never disappoints.
Always a great place for fun lunch with excellent food and service."
dined on 10/01/2014
We always try to eat at Cecconi's
when in London. The menu is not the most varied and the food is good but not excellent but it does have the most wonderful staff, a great bar to sit at and watch the world go by and is well located in the heart of Mayfair. Not for everyone, but a must for us!"
dined on 28/12/2013
While the food was delicious, we
couldn't seem to get our waiter to notice us. It was very frustrating and distracted from the good meal."
dined on 27/12/2013
Cecconi's is one of those menu's
where my wife looks at it and says, I like everything on here. It's not challenging just very very good Italian food, well presented, great buzzy atmosphere and good value. Ending with good stable well done deserts. Everything that leads to a very enjoyable evening."
dined on 14/12/2013
We were celebrating a special
birthday - food was excellent. Had to wait a while for the table to be ready but we weren't asked to give up the table after 2 hours (which we had been advised at the time of booking). Good ambience. Highly recommended. Would definitely go again."
dined on 11/12/2013
Cecconis is consistent which is
why I always go. The food, service and ambience are all fabulous. Definitely a go-to place."
dined on 06/12/2013
Have always enjoyed Cecconis for
pre-work breakfast and after work drinks. However, food was extremely disappointing on this occasion - overly salted and dry mains, overly dressed salad and greasy frites. We mentioned this to our waiter, who did not seem too troubled by our concerns."
dined on 03/12/2013
Cecconi is my firm favorite dinner
or brunch the food and service is always excellent"
dined on 30/11/2013
Book before you go as I did. It
gets vey busy but still has outstand service and ambience."
dined on 30/11/2013
I've been a regular customer for
years. The food is great but the restaurant is just too noisy. They have never bothered to do anything about the sound problem they have and it just gets worse each time we visit. You can't actually talk to each other as it's simply too loud."
dined on 30/11/2013
Myself and two friends enjoyed a
long lazy lunch in Cecconis. Fab food and atmosphere. Definitely will visit again."
dined on 28/11/2013
Really excellent food. Before
recent visit, last went 2 years ago and the standard has not dropped. A classy, lively atmosphere at any time of day. Not cheap but worth it - a very well run operation."
dined on 09/11/2013
Always nice to have a meal here
whether its breakfast/ lunch or dinner.. The only -1star is for the staff, they are too hyped up and impatient. The receptionist cannot be on the phone and welcome guests and hand over coats= guests waiting!!"
dined on 08/11/2013
Cecconi's excellent reputation is
well deserved - a Mayfair staple - the food, service and atmosphere are a delight - highly recommended."
dined on 29/10/2013
I had the french toast for brunch
and found it disappointing. It was a tiny portion for what it cost, and the toast was extremely dry, and barely coated. I think this restaurant coasts more on its reputation than the quality of the food."
dined on 26/10/2013
Had a great lunch time meal on a
Saturday. Well presented food was excellent, tasty and went along with a great atmosphere in the place. Free nibbles included service was very good even when the place was rammed to the rafters. We'll be back..."
dined on 19/10/2013
Hot Spot. Cecconi's is always
lively and fun and the service and food are great, in a lively environment."
dined on 19/10/2013
Fab food, fab service, fab
ambience cant wait to go back!"
dined on 16/10/2013
Very busy so be sure to book -
standing room only at entrance as bar is also booked up. Food excellent & service is everything one should expect from a top notch popular restaurant."
dined on 11/10/2013
Consistantly good service, food,
ambiance and value. Big portions that are good for Americans. I always try to book a table when I am in town..a no brainer conveniently located, not stuffy easy elegant restaurant."
dined on 13/10/2013
Service was pretty terrible. The
waiter got two of our orders wrong and blamed them on me. We also had to ask 5 times to get another bottle of wine. It finally came at the end of the meal. He should have asked if we wanted one after finishing the first bottle as is customary. The restaurant was completely understaffed."
dined on 11/10/2013
Recent visit to London this was
our 1st choice. Sunday, hungry, it was buzzing, decor lovely. Table wasn't ready, so drink at bar. Seated, a while to take wine order. No problem, we were in no rush. Didn't feel rushed with the slots. Our first courses were meatballs, and the chicken liver on crostini (this is Pate, not livers). Meatballs were good, crostini were delicious. We followed with rib eye and sautéed potatoes, and crab ravioli a side of zucchini Frites. Disappointed, steak great, but a tad too much fat on. Sauté potatoes undercooked. Crab ravioli nice, but too much shell in it. Zucchini frites very salty, in fact everything was over-salted. Atmosphere whats good here, food comes secondary, service third. Probably wouldn't go back."
dined on 06/10/2013
very good combination of style,
relaxed service, good food and good drinks. really extraordinary good!"
dined on 27/09/2013
Definitely a place for special
occasions. Great food and ambiance was good. Recommend."
dined on 05/08/2013
Great atmosphere; lively, buzzing
vibe that combines the Mayfair 'Suits' and the glamorous high-end shoppers. Good Italian fares, with a classic menu; often simple but well executed. Good for catching up with friends or for a relaxed, yet still impressive, business lunch."
dined on 24/09/2013
Cecconi's delivered again and I
was glad to be able to introduce one of my clients to the restaurant too. The service was excellent and although they had originally stipulated that we had the table for an hour and a half, we were there well over three in the end. Food was great, we had the mixed house starter cicetti to share then a pasta fest followed by wonderful desserts."
dined on 19/09/2013
.... and buzzy ambience and
excellent service. A favourite of mine that I will continue to return to."
dined on 21/09/2013
Wonderful ambience with impeccable
service and excellent food. A must for anyone looking for something special. Thank you Cecconi's."
dined on 17/09/2013
dinner with my wife, everyone can
find something they like on this, not very risky menu. presentation on the plate was interesting not just piled on, the food tasty and in reasonable portions. There was no cheese on the menu but they made a commendable plate up for me so v attentive and flexible service. Whats not to like? well, the service was too fast- not something I usually complain about ,we wanted a leisurely dinner but, despite having deserts (sic) we were out in a little over an hour! This is perfect for a business meal but a bit fast for a really social and relaxed evening."
dined on 16/09/2013
Great food and service - usually a
celebrity or two . Avoid for a romantic meal for two...it's very noisy and you end up shouting at each other!"
dined on 09/09/2013
It is one of the favourite brunch
place however I was very disappointed by the service this time. It was very arrogant and not to the standard. I love the environment but as an average level food place, service is important. It should be improved materially before it could be recommended to friends."
