Casa Brindisa Ratings and Reviews
Service was great
Service was great
The 3 of us went to Casa Brindisa for dinner. The place was buzzing and very busy. Our table was not ready for our reservation time but the manager was good at keeping us updated and gave us a free drink whilst we waited. After we were seated, service was quick, the food came fast and it was all very delicious as usual
The food was fabulous and the service was great. Our waitress was very attentive
Large and tasty tapas
I had lunch here with a colleague on Friday; it was a first visit. We shared four tapas plates which the waiter thought would not be enough but we stuck to our guns thinking we could always order more. Thhe portions - of patatas bravas, tortilla with chorizo, spinach and croquetas - were so large we could not even finish them. The tortilla and spinach with pine nuts, garlic and raisins were delicious, patatas pleasingly spicy but the chicken and pork croquetas strangely cheesy with not much hint of meat. The ambience is cheap and cheerful, prices not too cheap though - we had tap water and the bill came to over £46. Service was friendly and prompt.
Good but not outstanding
Perfectly OK but nothing outstanding. Service was excellent and attentive. Food patchy - some highlights (monkfish) but some disappointments (patatas bravas). Decent but rather expensive wine list. The room is very noisy, too bright and tables rather closely-packed. I would probably go back but it's definitely a place for an informal group night out rather than a romantic dinner for two.
Good and tasty food
Can't fault anything, the food was very good and so was the service. I will be back for sure
Good place to go
Lovely iberico ham and other tapas treats. Friendly service and good sangria!
Very simple tapas restaurant
Good food, service, and overall experience. The place seems to always be very busy. The restaurant has nothing out of the ordinary though...
Okay, but a bit Over-Priced
The food was okay. Given the small plates, it was a bit over-priced. Regarding ambience, It's a bit loud and the tables are very close to each other.
My favourite tapas in London
great options , always friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere
I dine at Casa Brindisa fairly regularly and they never disappoint on any front. Food, wine and service are always very good.

Having eaten and enjoyed the food at Café Brindisa previously when visiting London we again took the opportunity to book to ensure we got a table. Seated at 6.25pm for our 6.30pm reservation and we were served and had our meal finished by 7.10pm. We knew that we only had the table for 1.5hours but felt that we were rushed and we expected to have a leisurely meal. No complaints with the food all was very tasty. Certainly worth visit if you are in a rush as food served promptly.
3 times lucky!!
This was our third visit back to Casa Brindisa and once again it was amazing. The staff are so helpful and make for a marvellous experience. The restaurant itself is always buzzing with laughter and chatter and the staff are always attentive to ensure you're content. The food is wonderful, varied and tasty with options to suit just about everyone. I thoroughly recommend this amazing tapas restaurant restaurant.
Love this place!
I love this place. I come about once or twice year (normally after a visit to the natural history museum). I thoroughly enjoy the wine list and the food is always excellent, the staff are friendly and you can hear yourself speak. Great place to bring a date. Book a table to ensure you get in though.
My second time at Casa Brindisa. My first experience was so amazing, I took my parents on the 24/10. We had a great time. Service was really friendly and quick. Food was good. As a vegetarian, there was not much choice, but the food I ordered was really good. All in all it was a very successful Evening. My parents loved it just as much as I did.
selection of small plates
tapas is a great way to meet up for friends on a weeknight, especially if you want to sample different things. casa brindisa is one of the best places in london and well worth a visit if you're heading by South Kensington Station
One of the most disappointing experiences lately
Had a Saturday lunch with kids at Casa Brindisa and were amazed at the poor quality of service, eg had to wait 40+ minutes for steak, during this time we asked 2 staff + maitre d to check on our order and not a single person even apologised for delay (maitre d actually did not even come back to us). Never mind steak came overcooked and chewy so was not really worth waiting for. Overall clearly one of the most disappointing experiences we had lately.
I go to Casa Brindisa fairly regularly and the place never disappoints. Food, service and wine are all excellent.
Another good meal
We returned to Casa Brindisa for about the fifth or sixth time. The food was as good as ever, but the number of Spanish staff seems to have diminished. The first waiter seemed a bit clueless about sherry and habas fritas. The main waitress seemed to think that she needed to explain the concept of tapas to us and was relentless in her explanation. The Spanish member of staff who brought some of the food was complimentary about my Spanish, so that was pleasing. The jamon was as good as ever, which is largely the point! The white Rioja was fantastic. We will return despite the fact that the service is becoming the same as many other London chains.
Our family loved the meal. Three kids (11, 10, 6). Food was fantastic -- fresh and fast. Service was a little chaotic because we were there on a Saturday evening -- so chicken dish showed up 30 minutes after we ordered but we were so full. Ordered about 2 tapas per person plus 2 appetizers and we were all so full. (Be sure to make a reservation for the weekend.) I feel like we tried almost everything and loved it all.

Good choice for Kensington. Food and service good - plenty of room. Impressive given it is so well located - very handy for tube and museums
Another great experience
This is a great restaurant for good, reliable tapas. The drinks are good, the snacks are great, everything is somewhere between good and great. It's also not too pricey, so given the atmosphere and quality of food, I consider this place great value. I always enjoy going if I'm in the area.
We bring all friends and family visiting London to Casa Brindisa first and they all love it. The staff are friendly and food and drink are good. This time we had to wait 10 minutes after our booking time due to the previous group not leaving on time, and there's very little space where you can wait, but overall it's always one of our favorites in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!
An early supper
Service was quick and efficient and food arrived very quickly after ordering. Everything was cooked nicely and we had a very enjoyable evening.
Brindisa pre theatre.
Excellent food and service, we were impressed by the choice of tapas, turn around within an hour but did not feel rushed or pressured. Very tasty, portions pretty large and meant for sharing. Perfect for a meal prior to concert at Royal Albert Hall.
I had been to the Brindisa in Soho some time ago which was absolutely delicious, so, when I had to find a restaurant near South Kensington this was my first choice and I must admit it did not disappoint! We went early(ish) at 12.30 and it was filling up when we left. This was a business lunch and the tables are relatively close so if you don’t want to be overheard then avoid peak times. We shared six dishes – Padron Peppers (I luckily got a couple of hot ones when usually they are mild) which were very good, Gambas al Ajillo (delicious garlic prawns!), Croquetas de jamon y pollo which were yummy, Traditional Potato Tortilla which was really good and Patatas Bravas which were nice but I could easily have given them a miss – however my client loved them. Last but not least was the Grilled Pluma Iberica – this came medium rare and I like my pork cooked. They told me it was a special cut that can be eaten like this but we sent it back to be cooked and it was amazing.

Not my first time & definitely not the last one. Grilled octopus definitely stood out - the best I've had after Portugal which had the best ones in my opinion. Overall, one of the best tapas in London.
Third or fourth visit to Casa Brindisa, food is always good, bit of a delay on some of the food which also happened last time but it did arrive eventually. Would still recommend.
Good food good fun
Food was excellent, tasty and quick. Had a great time
Very good food, attentive waiters, a little noisy, but where isn't.
Mid week pre-prom meals can feel like a scramble, however Brindisa offered us delicious food served very quickly and a great choice if hot and cold tapas. The glass of wine was excellent too. We always come here on our way to the Albert Hall and we have not yet been disappointed. It isnt the cheapest fast supper, but the good service and reliabke quality make up for that.
Great tapas restaurant
This restaurant has a great selection of fresh and high quality tapas. The staff are very friendly and there is a light-hearted atmosphere in the restaurant.

Great food - have the octopus and almond tart :). Good for casual dining.
We enjoyed our pre proms evening meal. Attentive and helpful waiting staff and tasty well presented food.
Calmed down after Superfast start
Initially the service was a touch too fast but then moved to a more comfortable pace. Food excellent as was drink and servers charming.
Excellent tapas bar
Our seats were not in a good position but the fresh food from a comparatively small menu was spot on
There is room for improvement
The food was good but the service was a bit slack albeit friendly. For the prices it would be nice if the ambience could be improved. Napkin dispenser and cheap cutlery like a fast food place - hello?!
Super meal at Casa Brindisa before Prom
The food was authentic Spanish tapas style and the wines were exceptional value for South Ken, especially the en rama sherry recommended by our waiter. He was super, but sadly we have forgotten his name.
Great Location & Food!
This restaurant was actually recommended to me by a friend. It's an exceptional tapas restaurant with some good dishes. The tapas was rather 'plain' if I'm honest and a bit 'predictable' but it was delightful all the same. I would return there for a meal.
Great food and wine
I've been here a number of times and on each occasion always have the best time. The quality of the charcuterie and cheese selections is the best. The staff are always friendly and helpful in their recommendations for both food and the wine. The only downside is that the tables are so close together you're practically sitting with the neighbouring table, so if you want intimate and quiet you may be disappointed. However the atmosphere is vibrant and noisy and I love it and will keep going back and recommending it to my friends
