This time I was there for a birthday meal and the staff made me feel extra special. The fish specials are always delicious, but so are the very simple pasta dishes. The dishes were not run of the mill Italian food. Lots of fish dishes on the specials board, which were obviously favoured as they were disappearing fast from the boards!
Portion sizes were good, not too much, but not too little. However, I didn't have room for dessert which was a shame!
Wine selection was great.
Decor is good and there is plenty of space on the tables. Low lighting but candles on the table add atmosphere.
We had 2 courses from the fixed price menu, plus a large glass of wine each and it came to about £60 inc tip.

As usual the complimentary bread basket was delicious, the wine excellent, and the main courses superb! We both had the lamb chops with a selection of tasty vegetables chosen from the accompanying list. Caffe Vivo never fails to impress.
