On arrival the manager spoke to the waitress and asked for a nice table for us. The atmosphere was lively so recommend upstairs if you like a quieter atmosphere. Crisp white table cloths and a service to match. Although some of the items on the menu were finished due to the heavy demands over that weekend our food choices were excellent. French onion soup was delicious and in generous portions. We all chose the fish dishes which were excellent . Food was hot and well presented and the wine list varied with a price list to match.

Three two course meals was £51, pretty good I thought. We also ordered wine which they didn't have so they gave us more expensive bottles for the same price as the one's we had ordered.
On the down side it was good value for what we received, however I'm glad we had the 50% reduction otherwise you could feel cheated, particularly on the starters.
