We were offered drinks at the bar and never felt rushed into being seated straight away. The service, ambience and quality were all absolutely fantastic. The staff were very attentive without ever being intrusive. Value for money was much better than I thought it would be at such an upscale restaurant. My girlfriend and I both had a 3 course meal (I had fillet steak), and we shared a bottle of Prosecco and the bill was still under £100 - even with a 12.5% tip!! Special set menue has more limited choice, but is good value. Absolutely no problem in dining alone - though you might end up joining in the conversation on the table next to you.
