A word from Asia de Cuba - London
Asia de Cuba combines elements of Asian and Cuban cuisine served sharing-style in a high energy, sophisticated, yet relaxed environment. Located on St. Martins Lane, Asia de Cuba is a one-of-a-kind space centered around a series of majestic "art columns", each displaying a different and stunning composition. The Asia de Cuba concept also includes the famous Rum Bar; it has the largest selection of "sipping" rums available in London, as well as unusual and intriguing selection of specialty cocktails, many of which are Asia de Cuba signatures.

We are proud to announce the introduction of a brand new experiential afternoon tea which will send guests into the mystique and ambiance of a Cuban teahouse. The tea will be served in bespoke crockery inspired by Cuban culture and unconventional design.

  • "Went there with a friend and we opted for the tasting menu with additional starters/ Very nice and filling as well!"

  • "the pre-theatre top table deal is good value. great prompt service but i find the food is getting a little tired. we were in and out in an hour so i can't find fault with the slick operation"

  • "Fantastic service. Brilliant customer service. Perfect food. Would defiantly be going back."

  • "My partner and I went to Asia de Cuba before heading to the theatre. It didn't start off to well as we really struggled to find the restaurant which has no signage that we could see on the outside of the building, however, once inside it was all postive. We have the £22 meal deal, which covered two courses. Both were not only delcious, but were beautifully presented too. We also had a couple of cocktails which were brilliant, they have an amazing Rum selection which greatly impressed and excited my partner. The cherry on the top was the great service we received. I can't speak highly enough of our servers who were delightful and very attentive. Highly recommend this restuarant and I will definitely be back!"

  • "We were excepting something more special for the price and image of the place. The food was good, but lacking some character. Place and personnel were great."

  • "Food was amazing the tasting menu gives a little insight to what those magical people in the kitchen can do. The service was v good with everyone being attentive to a level that was formal but still relaxed. My only gripe and it's a small one, where I was sat there was not a lot of room between the tables, so our neighbours could almost reach out and grab a bite of our food as well as joining in our conversation. All in all a very nice place to take someone on a special occasion."

  • "I am a very regular customer , but last time I was in Asia de Cuba I had a bad experience with both service and food. But as always loyalty is won after a great gesture of customer service rights a wrong. I was invited by the Manager to dinner as a token of confidence from a regular customer and to try to prove that the last negative experience was an exception and I have to say he did an stellar job. This time service was great, food was great and overall everything came right as it use to be in this great restaurant. So thank you and you have won me back"

  • "We had a pre-theatre top table option here, which was lovely. My squid starter was huge for a starter, the tuna main was the opposite, which was slightly weird. However, everything was tasty and great balance of flavours. The menu was good value and I really like the decor in here - I have been to the bar many times and always enjoy it. The service was very odd, with the waitress talking very rapidly in broken english whilst sitting on the table adjacent to ours drowning us in her perfume... she said things like "if you like fish we recommend the tuna and if you are vegetarian the vegetables are recommended" (tuna was the only fish main and there was only one veg option, so rather unnecessary). She also read out the entire menu for us..."

  • "Booked table for 7 for a birthday celebration on Top Table special deal. Menu interesting. Food good but dishes rather lacking in vegetables. Room is very large and all hard surfaces, so very noisy. A fun atmosphere but not the place for a quiet meal for two. Worth a try if you can find it: for some reason they don't think it necessary to have any signs outside."

  • "Asia de Cuba combines all you want from a restaurant: Excellent and creative food, excellent service and an elegant but cosy atmosphere. The waiter "warned" us that the portions are so big, that he recommanded sharing. That was a good advice. We were three persons and ordered two starters, two main courses and one dessert. We couldn't finish any of them. That may sound strange since the food was extremely delicious, but we had to make room for the rest of the meal. All the dishes were delicious and somehow different from what I have tasted in other restaurants. The service were excellent: Not too pushy, good advices and the waiter made us feel at home. I will recommand this restaurant to all my friends going to London in the future."

  • "I've been here on numerous occasions, there aren't many restaurants I'd revisit nowadays, but this is one that hasn't disappointed yet! The tasting menu is great, and the staff are always good about adapting it for dietary requirements, (make sure you add a side of lobster mash to you meal for that extra luxury :) Its great for couples and groups, do try it."

  • "We went for a pre-theatre menu which at £22 for 2 courses seemed OK (albeit there are a lot of cheaper places around - but this had good reviews). Booked for 6pm - shown to table very promptly and orders for drinks and food taken quickly. By 6:30pm we had had our starter and main but it had not felt rushed. They then brought the menus again for dessert which we had not planned to have but on looking, were tempted! However, 20 minutes later we were still sat there, no-one having come near us and so it was too late and we just had to get the bill - frustrating! Food was good and nicely presented. Glad we had a table in the upper part of the restaurant though - the tables in the lower part looked very crammed in."
    dined on 04/04/2014
  • "We had a lovely starter and main course - with one cocktail and ended up paying around £65.00 per person .... Not cheap - A treat. A little overly priced though - But food was very good."

  • "Visited on Monday and had lovely lunch .Service was good and food was well presented. Had a non alcoholic cocktails as don't drink alcohol and it was so tasty. You must try churros as well."
    dined on 31/03/2014
  • "Went there with a friend for a pre theatre dinner. Lovely food. Worked out less than £30 per person before drinks. Service is very friendly and non intrusive. Also, you get a refreshing mojito as a part of your meal. What not to like?"

  • "My friend and I often visit London for the day and visit the galleries and then stop for a luxury lunch; anyway we have visited Asia de Cuba before and had a fantastic lunch, however this time the way you order food has now changed and instead of small sharing dishes you have your "own" plate, the menu was restricted, the food was sub-standard the service poor and the cost just ridiculous. To add insult to injury they also charged us service (without asking) which then increase our bill by £17.00 and there were only 2 of us; the service was not worth £17. We would not go back"
    dined on 31/03/2014
  • "Service careless and inaccurate. the dishes are placed in the middle of the table, and every time you have to ask what is two dishes did not arrive with the other, only after our reminder we have been brought to the table the bill (expensive) was wrong and we were charged two dishes ever taken the hall was full of people, the tables are very close to others and you could not speak to the noise"
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "Asia de Cuba remains one of my favourite restaurants in town. Dining this time with clients from overseas, I am happy to say everything at the restaurant was to their liking. The staff as ever were excellent and attentive, with the food up to the usual high standard with great dishes to share. The octopus starter proved to be a particular favourite, along with the Cuban coffee crusted rib eye, which was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back."
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "When we asked for the Top table menu, they were not happy...they gave it to us but since we changed waiters twice, when the bill arrived, they had charged us more that they should have, so we had to struggle quite a bit. The food is not great and it is pricy. The ambience is fair but not special, service is poor. I wouldn't recommend it."
    dined on 11/12/2013
  • "Enjoyable pre-theatre tasing menu. Good sized portions with great flavours. We went with toptable deal £55 including glass of champagne which made it better value."
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "Excellent restautrant, excellent food and excellenet service! Great atmosphere!"
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "Overall the food was good but the cost of sharing 2 starters, 2 mains & 1 dessert between 3 people was expensive. I've been to the Asia de Cuba in Hollywood & that one is far more reasonably priced & in my opinion food is better. Saying that the staff in London are a delight."
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "As my title says the food here is great and the experience made even better by the excellent service we received where nothing was to much trouble and they seemed to be having as much fun looking after you as you were being looked after. The only thing I would improve would be the signage from the street - its almost impossible to find!"
    dined on 29/03/2014
  • "The bento boxes are delicious, and excellent value. I would recommend them highly!"
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "The decor of the resturant is a bit 'zany' but cool at the same time. They have plenty of big tables so it looks ideal as a birthday/special occasion resturant. The table staff were attentive although a little slow to re fill the wine glasses and as they keep the bottle so far away you cannot do it yourself, one customer did try to but the table staff gave him a telling off lol. The food portions are good and they do advise the sharing of certain dishes however if you have a good appetite you will get through it. The fusion comes in the form of Aisian and Cuban influences in the foods(as the resturant name suggest) they even provide chop sticks on the table. Good food, good vibe just need the service to be a but quicker."
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "Good food, I thought everything was great except the desserts were just okay. However, the ambiance and interior of the restaurant were all great!"
    dined on 28/03/2014
  • "The food was very good but too pricey no dishes below £18 even for starters.and not good portions We had a lovely time Service seemed hard pressed the waitress was sweet but at those prices you need excellent service especially with a 15% service charge. Octopus was excellent ! Would go back with a special offer ."
    dined on 21/03/2014
  • "Food was amazing! There was plenty of choice on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable night, I would recommend it highly."
    dined on 22/03/2014
  • "The food was outstanding in a nice setup ambience . I will suggest Asia de Cuba to all my friends visiting London . It's a gourmet experience ."

  • "The hotel is welcoming and has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is every bit as good as I'd expected it to be. Will be returning in the not too distant future."
    dined on 09/02/2014
  • "We visited Aisa de Cuba for a birthday dinner on 20th March and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was buzzing and the service was excellent. Yes, it is pricey, but the food is worth it. The menu is varied with fish and meat dishes and some of the flavours are excellent. I would recommend this place for special occasions, enjoy with some nice cocktails and great food."
    dined on 20/03/2014
  • "It's just far too loud in there. The tables are enormous, we were a party of four and there was more than a metre of table between those sitting opposite one another meaning that you had to shout to be heard. Of course, this was the same for everyone in the restaurant so the level of noise was deafening. It made it almost impossible to have any kind of conversation - we spent most of the night going, SORRY?? WHAT DID YOU SAY?? That said, the food is great. However, the portions vary so much in size that it is difficult to know what to order. The black miso cod is a very small portion, suitable for one or two at the most, whereas the BBQ chicken was too much for 4 of us. They are both mains and the cod is more expensive.. confusing."
    dined on 20/03/2014
  • "Really enjoyed my lunch at the restaurant. I was happily surprised with the food. We chose the 3 set menu. The food was elegant, perfect portions and most importantly; delicious. The restaurant itself is very trendy and the staff went beyond in service and politeness. Our waiter was a Colombian gentleman who was very polite and professional. I just can't wait to come back and bring more friends. Michael."
    dined on 20/03/2014
  • "Service flawless as always, food to die for! The mexican donuts & calamari salad never fail to impress. The tofu however was a little disappointing. looking forward to my next visit."
    dined on 20/03/2014
  • "This was the second time we have dined @ Asia de Cuba and we have been impressed on both occasions. The fusion style food is well balanced and thoughtful. The waiter's advice was spot on in terms of portion size and recommended half portions for some dishes even though we have large appetites and he was right. At just under £50 per head for 3 courses, 15% service and a few glasses of wine, I think is reasonable for a London restaurant."
    dined on 18/03/2014
  • "This was our first visit to Asia de Cuba. After a slight hitch when we had difficulty finding it we were met with a very friendly welcome. We went for a pre-theatre meal and decided to order from the pre-theatre menu which offered excellent choices. I had the tofu which was very enjoyable and my husband had the barbeque chicken which he said was really good. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the excellent service and I also liked the environment. It was also very good value."
    dined on 17/03/2014
  • "Good food but not exceptional, mediocre/slow service. Not worth the £80 pp that we paid"
    dined on 14/03/2014
  • "Great Food. The service was outstanding too. Pre-Theatre Menu was good too money wise."
