There was a good range of dishes available in the menu and the food was excellent, very tasty!
It was my sister in laws birthday which we stated when we booked the table and it was a nice surprise when they arrived after the meal with a chocolate cake and happy birthday icing onto the plate!

I picked the perfect tasting chicken dish with coriander. Rice was perfect. Naan was again just right.

The food at Ashas can only be descibed as fantastic. It is value for money, that's not to say it's cheap because it's not, but you do get your moneys worth and more. It's a huge place but feels intimate because of the way it is partitioned. It feels more like a bar in some areas than a restaurant, in a good way. It's extremely modern inside. The food was out of this world - in particular the quality of the meat was great, with Welsh lamb in the lamb dishes. The sauces were amazingly rich and the naan bread and parantha accompaniments were to die for. Two diners had the chicken tikka that melted in the mouth. Of the main courses the one that stands out is the lamb biriyani served in a pot and is steaming hot with the lamb juices infusing into the rice as a true biryani should be. The lamb was succulent and huge, and to much to eat for some of us. The rice alone is teaming with the flavour from the lamb , and can be eaten on its own.
