  • "Ate here before when it was the Green Room, love the changes. Much better menu choice now, not just tasting menus. Same chef so food quality excellent and staff are more laid back which allowed us to relax. Most importantly, prices are really reasonable and I really like that they don't subscribe to discount sites, like the rest of Bournemouth, so I know nobody else in there is getting a better deal than me! Well done! If you haven't been, give it a try. Bournemouth's best kept secret!"

  • "Was in Bournemouth a year ago & came here, it was excellent. Now though, front of house is dire. Red wine was served in an ice bucket as he wanted to chill it down a little? Had to serve our own wine in an half busy restaurant. The signature dish for two people was off the menu on a Saturday night with no other alternative. Will not be returning I'm afraid. Only saving grace was one of the bar staff 'Kaz'. The food that was ordered was excellent if a little served too quickly. Last year the taster menu was offered, now it requires 24 hours notice. If, Chef Andy Hilton is still involved a serious overhaul in front of house is needed, which is a pity as this time last year it was the best restaurant in Bournemouth."

  • "We were in Bournemouth last weekend and had dinner at Arbor in The Green House Hotel. On arriving we were met by friendly, cheerful staff and enjoyed a drink in the bar while we ordered our food. Every course was excellent but the Lyme Bay Scallops starter and the Dorset Cheese Plate to finish were outstanding - Great to have cheese that was just ripe and had not just been taken out of a fridge! Again very friendly and attentive staff in the restaurant and very good, reasonably priced wine choice. Will definitely go back on return trips to Bournemouth."

  • "Very pleasantly surprised. Newly refurbished, very pleasant restaurant. Diverse menu, good prices. I had mrs T's mushrooms on bread with a poached egg to start followed by sea bream. Delicious. Would definitely recommend to people after a delicious dinner with good service at a good price"

  • "I spent a couple of nights in Bournemouth with my partner and we booked lunch at The Green Room on Thursday. When we arrived there was a large table of work colleagues having lunch which made the dining room a little loud but the Maitre d' / manager kindly turned the music up a little. The service was great, the food was delicious and we had cheese and wine in the bar area which was very relaxing. The Maitre d' also brought over 2 glasses of complimentary wine as they had a rep in while we were there. Would definitely go back. We were pleasantly surprised that the bill was so reasonable too!"

  • "We had the taster menu at £40 a head which was wonderful. James was great at picking out the wine for us. I did find our server slightly gushing, "Ooh look at that, it looks fantastic." This seemed to go on every course which was a little tedious. Overall though, great food sand highly recommended."

  • "We had a wonderful time in Bournemouth, it was our anniversary & although we never stayed @ this superb place we discovered there fantastic restaurant.Words cannot describe it as you will have to try discover this establishment & decide for yourself.Maybe you will discover more than friendly staff from the moment you enter to the time you leave you will defiantly be wanting more of their fresh foods & desserts.If we go back to Bournemouth we would stay their as well as 1 of our options."

  • "Another Gourmet Delight at The Green Room in Bournemouth! Great Food & Service. This really is that extra special Diner's Paradise, EXCELLENT!!! Expensive?...... Yes, I suppose it is (Though I used points, so got one meal FREE!). Small portions?.... Yes again (as some have already pointed out on this review page). BUT, if you truly appreciate a Fusion Of Tastes & Flavours, in a wonderful setting, then GO FOR IT. Get your taste buds "Tickled" at the Green Room! Very Highly reccomended."

  • "Last night I used 4000 of my Top Table points on a Free meal at the Green Room, at the Green House Hotel in Bournemouth. I had Poached Smoked Haddock to start, with Curried Rissoto Cake & Leeks, a "Fusion Of Delicious Flavours", followed by, Delicious Lamb Rump, Samosa, Roasted Carrot, & Mashed Potato, also delicious! My dessert I chose was the Set Blood Orange Custard, with Candied Zest, & Cardamom Ice Cream, again quite delicious! Service was excellent. A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Highly Recommended!"
