The fish of the day, a fish stew, was absolutely delicious. One diner expected the noodles in the thai noodle salad to be hot, but it didn't spoil her meal. Extra spoons were brought, without fuss, to share a pudding.

Really good value for money and fantastic atmosphere whether it's with friends, in groups or just with my husband. Food was excellent - the rabbit gnocchi starter was as nice as usual and not too filling as it could easily have been. Everyone also really enjoyed the moules frites for the mains - I had the seafood risotto, which was also very tasty. We booked for 12.30 and were glad that we had done so as it became increasingly busy.
Lunch was excellent and extremely good value for the quality of the food. The portions were not large but we prefer that.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the fish & chips which was to die for. We felt the meal was good value for money and we would definitely go back. This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant and once again the food, service and ambience was outstanding. The only slight negative was one of our party is disabled, with extreme mobility problems. We were unable to park in a disabled parking bay due to an inconsiderate diner (without blue badge) parking there. I did mention it to a waitress but due to the restaurant being very full, nothing was done. It would have been nice for feedback from the waitress. Anyway, it didn't spoil a superb night. We had a couple of drinks (without queue's) at the bar while waiting for the table but this was due to arriving early and not that the table wasn't ready. Once seated, the waitress was very friendly and patient with us. The food choice was perfect for our liking and standard of food was A1. Time between courses and drinks service was also perfect.
