We both went for fish and they were both lovely. A girl next to us had the vege option and it also looked really good.
My dessert was very tasty (pistachio and raspberry tart du jour) but my boyfriend got the bread and butter pudding with salted toffee popcorn ice cream and butterscotch foam (from the a la carte) and it was like a piece of art!
Wine ranges from £25 up to £1,600(?!) I asked for white recommendations around £30 and our waiter did the best he could. The Rioja I chose in the end was perfect.
The setting is very grand and centres on a bar. The food (six course menu), except the Cod (third course) was done just right in terms of quality and quantity. The cheese board (5th course) was lovely.
Service was very good - very attentive without being around all the time. - Although we had to ask them to slow down the overall dinner service. We spend almost 4 hours there and really enjoyed it.

I can't emphasize enough on how friendly and professional the service was, exactly what u expect from a high-end restaurant.
With all that being said, I did not give it a five star rating simply because it was a bit noisy with people chatting loudly over drinks which made it a bit difficult for me and my girlfriend to communicate over dinner.
